With the rising demand for veterinary services, your skill set is more valuable than ever. Pet owners want to provide the best care to their animals but they’re not always able to get into a clinic. Telemedicine brings the expertise of a veterinarian to a client in the convenience of their own home, while simultaneously relieving the pressures traditional clinics are currently facing. By offering your services on Vetibility, you can help ensure clients have access to high quality telemedicine veterinary services providing the same standard of care seen in a clinic setting.
By providing your services virtually on Vetibility, you can take advantage of any downtime you may have, at your discretion and without having to plan or schedule ahead of time, to maximize your income potential.
As a Vetibility veterinarian, you can hop on the mobile application at any time and see as many or as few appointments as you wish. You can even turn on Appointment Notifications within the Settings page of the app to receive push notifications when there are appointments waiting in the Triage Queue. Writing medical records has also never been so easy in our toggle-based SOAP template that is integrated right into the video chat and has additional pre-populated, editable text, letting you complete your records within minutes and helping prevent burnout. We also provide a Resources page within the app giving you direct access to tools that help you practice better medicine.

If you are a licensed veterinarian and are interested in joining our team, please download the app to sign up and create a User Profile. Select the user type “Veterinarian” and add your licensing information. If we are accredited in your jurisdiction, you will find your licensing body in the drop down menu. If you do not see your licensing body, we are not currently accredited in your jurisdiction but check back soon!
Once you complete your profile click “Apply Now”. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your account. Once confirmed, you will receive another email to request additional information or arrange a telephone interview. If accepted, you will be notified by email and your account will be activated. You may then begin seeing appointments.
Please note, Vetibility seeks to optimize its veterinarian to client ratio to ensure clients receive care in a timely manner, while also striving to offer our veterinarians sufficient opportunity to pick up appointments. As such, onboarding of new veterinarians is dependant on demand. If we are unable to accept your application at this time, we will keep your information on hand and may contact you in the future should a position become available.
-
No! Our fee structure is standard for all Vetibility veterinarians within a jurisdiction to avoid market competition amongst colleagues across our platform and offer all of our veterinarians fair opportunity to pick up appointments. We want to avoid devaluing the profession and strive to emphasize the consistent level of care and service clients should expect from any Vetibility veterinarian. Our appointment fees are based off of regional Suggested Fee Guides and we charge no hidden or additional service fees to clients. Feel free to contact us for current pricing in your region.
-
You will receive 75% of the pre-tax amount paid by the client. All appointment fees are based off of regional small animal suggested fee guides. Feel free to contact us for current pricing in your region.

All payments are made through the third-party payment processor Stripe, which is integrated right into our platform, to securely process your payment without directly sharing your financial information. If you are accepted, you will need to set up and connect your Stripe account to Vetibility. Your payment from each appointment will be deposited into your Stripe account, with your payments automatically paid out to your bank account daily. Please note, your first payment may take up to 7-14 days to be deposited into your bank account, with subsequent payments occurring daily.

Yes! The ability to establish a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) virtually varies by jurisdiction, but Vetibility only offers services in jurisdictions where it is permitted.
-
No! Vetibility was designed to allow veterinarians to maximize their earning potential in a flexible way with no commitment or stress, allowing you to take advantage of any downtime you may have, at your discretion and without having to plan or schedule ahead of time. You can hop on the mobile application at any time and see as many or as few appointments as you wish. If you know you will be available for an extended period of time, you can even turn on Appointment Notifications within the Settings page of the application to receive push notifications when there are appointments waiting in the Triage Queue. Appointments in the Triage Queue are ordered by time in the queue, but you may prioritize which appointment(s) you see using your own professional judgement.
-
Your consultation is not limited to, nor required to be, a certain length of time. The appointment may vary based on your exam, follow-up questions, and discussion with the client, but generally lasts approximately 20 minutes.
-
The ability to legally prescribe medications via telemedicine can vary by jurisdiction. If a valid Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) is established, you may be able to prescribe non-controlled substances but please ensure you are practicing within the jurisdictional Professional Practice Standards set by your own regulatory body and using your own professional judgement. If your jurisdiction allows prescribing via telemedicine and you’ve deemed this to be appropriate for your patient, you can call this into the client’s local pharmacy. All you need from the client is the name of their pharmacy and the application will generate the pharmacy phone number. We have also provided a human pharmaceutical reference on our Resources page within the application for your convenience to check whether a suitable human formulation is available for your patient.
-
Yes. As per jurisdictional regulations, a medical record must always be completed when practicing veterinary medicine, including via telemedicine.
Our efficient toggle-based template with pre-populated standardized, editable text allows for record completion within minutes. Once finalized, the medical record will be emailed to the client as well as to their primary veterinary clinic (if an email has been provided). We also host and store all of the medical records from your past appointments and give you access to them at anytime on the dashboard within the application.
-
Yes! Vetibility was designed to help modernize and facilitate widespread access to veterinary care in an easy to use and efficient manner. As such, our application based services are accessible through Android and Apple mobile devices as well as laptop and desktop computers, allowing you to pick up appointments at your convenience whether at home or on the go.
-
Yes! If you are a clinic owner, please contact us for details about the Vetibility Clinic Network (VCN), which provides telemedicine capabilities to veterinary clinics as a third-party service provider. You can also visit our FAQ for Clinic Owners for further details.
-
Yes! All you need to do is toggle off “Vetibility Clinic Network” on the Settings page and you will be able to see appointments on behalf of yourself and automatically have your own Stripe account receive payment. Simply toggle this setting on when you head into work to be linked back into the Vetibility Clinic Network (VCN) and your clinic’s Stripe account will receive payment for any appointments you see while at work.
-
Yes! You can set any contractual proximity restrictions you may have on your Vet Profile by adding the radius in which you cannot service from a given clinic and the app will automatically hide appointment requests from clients within this area. Please note, the clinic will not be contacted and is used purely as a geographical marker to reference your restrictive covenant.
-
No! You are able to see any client that is located within the jurisdiction(s) in which you are licensed. The application will automatically list the 24-hour Emergency Clinic that is closest to the client should additional or follow-up in-person care be required and this information will be provided to you as well as the client.
-
While there is no maximum to the number of appointments you can see on Vetibility, please keep in mind that your applicable tax authority may set self-employment income thresholds at which you are required to register for a retail sales tax account. Once obtained, you would need to provide us with your tax account number(s) in order for the appropriate taxes to be added to your Vetibility payments for you to remit to the applicable tax authority.
-
As independent contractors, Vetibility veterinarians are responsible for tracking and reporting any income generated via our platform to their applicable tax authority.
-
All Vetibility veterinarians offering services on behalf of themselves are independent contractors. All veterinarians offering services on behalf of a clinic in the Vetibility Clinic Network (VCN) are considered employees of that clinic.
-
As all Vetibility veterinarians are independent contractors, Vetibility is unable to provide veterinarians operating on the platform with professional liability insurance. As such, Vetibility veterinarians are responsible for maintaining their own professional liability insurance.
-
As the ability to establish a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) virtually varies by jurisdiction, our services are currently limited to those which permit the VCPR to be established virtually.
